Disney Channel’s “In the Nook”
GRADUATION

Celebrating the graduation / culmination season of Disney Channel’s target demo, we invited previous In the Nook guest AHMED MUHAMMAD - the high-school-aged founder of Kits Cubed (a service providing science kits to underprivileged Bay Area youth) - back onto the show to deliver a valedictory address to the Class of ‘21.

While the speech was originally drafted as a placeholder for him to replace with his own words, Ahmed - who was accepted to all eleven universities to which he applied - was so pleased with the copy that he not only delivered it verbatim on air, but used sections of it for his graduation address from his high school.

Kim Possible
NAKED MOLE RAP REMIX

To celebrate the release of the live-action remake of the classic animated series, the idea of updating a fan-favorite song from the Kim Possible cartoon was the perfect way to connect the new version to the original’s legacy.

Performed by versatile KP stars SEAN GIAMBRONE (Ron Stoppable), ISSAC RYAN BROWN (Wade) and NANCY CARTWRIGHT (Rufus, the Naked Mole Rat), the remix racked up 100,000 plays in its first year on Spotify, and the shot-for-shot remake of the original music video scored another 500,000 views on YouTube.

ARDYs
IMAGE SELL

The greatest challenge in announcing SOFIA CARSON as host of the ARDYs (Radio Disney Music Awards) was that the ARDYs ceremony would be live - while previous' years’ had been live-to-tape - creating the opportunity for an image campaign from whole cloth.

As much as we could have relied on previous years’ footage, it would have undercut the feeling of unpredictability that comes with a live show, which led to this approach where anything can - and does - happen.

THE MOTHERF*CKIN’ RUCKUS
Feature

A fictionalized retelling of the bizarre real-life incident of a wealthy pharma exec purchasing a one-of-a-kind WU-TANG CLAN album, heist epic The Motherf*ckin’ Ruckus (co-written with Joe Tower) garnered industry attention after placing in the Script Pipeline screenwriting competition, leading Pipeline’s founder to remark “No clue how (Gradet and Tower) threw so much into The Motherf*ckin’ Ruckus and still made it work - that alone is remarkable. No exaggeration: future master of screenwriting.”

This prologue sets a fanciful historical context for the wide-ranging adventure to follow.
